There are a few things that I would like to see changed. Gigabyte’s mid-range X570 offering is the AORUS ELITE WIFI. It comes with all of the bells and whistles you need to build a high-end Ryzen gaming PC, including WiFi support.
Design
I think the design is ok; again, a black-themed motherboard with a black heatsink covers the VRMs. The RGB LEDs are very minimalistic, and they will not distract you.
Power Design

The X570 AORUS ELITE WIFI is a very powerful motherboard with a 12+ 2 power design, but with real 6+1 phases, as it uses phase doublers. No matter the doublers, this motherboard will be able to run your AMD Ryzen 5 5600x on stock speeds and easily overclock it.
Cooling System
The Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE has a good cooling design. With a chipset heatsink with a small fan, one M.2 Heatsink, and a really big heatsink covering the VRMs. While overall, it is a good cooling design, I would prefer no fan chipset heatsink, although it is pretty quiet. I would also prefer a second M.2 heatsink, but overall, there are no overheating issues reported so far.
Memory
The memory setup is pretty standard, with 4 x DIMM slots that can accommodate up to 128GB DDR4 memory at 4733 O.C., which is more than enough for gaming and multitasking.

MSI’s mid-end X570 offering is the MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI. It is an overall solid motherboard, but some overheating issues are reported, which you should know about.
Design
MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI has a black PCB and black heatsinks with silver accents. I don’t like it that much to be honest, but if you are happy with the rest of the motherboard, it doesn’t really matter.
Power Design

MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI is a very powerful motherboard with an 8+2 50A power design. It also features MSI’s core boost 8+4 pin CPU power connector, which provides a lot of power to the CPU.
Cooling System
While the cooling setup on this motherboard is generally good, the CPU area presents a main concern. The 4-layer PCB is adequate but could be improved, especially given the heat generated by PCIe 4.0 technology. The 4 layers may struggle to manage this heat effectively.
On the positive side, the motherboard features extended heatsinks on the VRMs and a large, robust SHIELD FROZR heatsink for the M.2 drives. However, the chipset’s small heatsink with a fan is of lower quality and can be somewhat noisy.

Power Design

The only downside is that there is no M.2 heatsink on this motherboard, so you can get throttling during heavy loads, especially if you plug your SSD into the slot next to the GPU PCIe.

Gigabyte B550M DS3H Micro ATX

Gigabyte’s B550M DS3H is the only Micro-ATX motherboard that I recommend in this article. It is not that I do not like Micro-ATX or mini ITX motherboards, but ATX mobos have the space to include more PCI-E slots and more storage options, etc.

The design of this board is dark with white lines. However, it doesn’t look even remotely premium. I am not super excited about the design, but overall, Gigabyte B550M DS3H is a pretty decent motherboard.
